昨天《为了孩子和父母家人，行动起来！抗议反合法移民！！》一文发出后，短短一天之内，微信上已经结集了4个关注移民政策改革、抗议反合法移民的行动群，上千人。微信只是我们结集的根据地，下一步，我们需要往Facebook，Twitter等英文平台努力，联合所有反对对合法移民动刀的力量。

2. 打电话、写email给你的议员
窍门：如果有条件的话，争取在早上刚上班那会8:30am-9:30am，和中午吃完饭后1-2pm抽时间打电话。议员办公室短时间内收到集中的电话的话，效果更好。周末和下班时间打不了电话，就多多发emails。邮件同样重要，这样议员有证据证明反对的呼声大。
打电话script模板参考（by志愿者阿树）：
I'm calling Congressman/woman/senator xxx to ask about his/her position on RAISE act (For senator)/Secure-America's-Future act(for congressman/woman), as well as President Trump's recent statement to end all 'extended-family chain migration'.

I, on behalf of the immigrant community behind me, am strongly urging the congressman/woman/senator to oppose any attempt to sacrifice legal immigrants and end family unity. Immigration is one of America’s biggest competitive advantages in the global economy and allowing family unity is one reason the US has been able to attract talented immigrants. Ending family based immigratiom is against the spirit of the 1965 immigration reform and will gravely harm the American culture and economy. Don't treat it lightly. Millions of people's lives will be affected by this so called reform. So I'm urging you to protect family unity, protect legal immigration and utimately protect the America as we know it.

Dear Senator/congressman/congresswomen_______,
I’m writing in opposition to the proposed cuts to family migration that are presently being discussed in Washington. Recent efforts to rename family migration “chain migration,” an altogether scarier sounding name that suggests that families are somehow a burden to America, should be rejected outright for the racism it is. Strong families are not, and never will be, a burden on our nation or its peoples.
Family values are the moral bedrock of our immigrant nation. The recent efforts to undermine legal family migration to our great land are a two-pronged attack on the values that built the United States of America into the nation we love today. Nowhere in the Bible nor any other text of any world religion will you find support for dividing families. Doing so is universally regarded to be a monstrous act.
No man or woman should ever have to choose between their loyalty to the United States of America and caring for their family. To force such a choice, as is being proposed in Washington, is an assault on the dignity of first generation Americans and an attack on the moral compass of every American you represent.
Please stand with us in rejecting these racist and immoral attacks on American family values aimed at our newest and most vulnerable American residents and citizens.

4. 对一些call-in的节目打电话进去发表观点。
>>大家真觉得这个移民改革就是爹妈不能来美国这么简单吗？这是要在十年内把合法移民人口减少50%的节奏。当初排华法案还用了三十年才把华裔人口降了40%。真要是觉得华裔社区的萎缩无所谓，那就请教好孩子中文，给他们留条后路吧，不要到时候大吃一惊。现在过多的纠缠移民改革的细节没意思。任何以大规模减少合法移民数量的移民改革都是要强烈反对的。
>>反对削减合法移民、禁止亲属移民提案的策略分析：
现在共和党和川普把DACA作为人质，要求削减合法移民，禁止包括父母在内的亲属移民，让民主党和移民团体在DACA和合法移民中间做二选一。
有挺川朋友问，我们反对削减合法移民，能不能同时反对DACA。此言差矣。共和党和民主党同时提出要解决DACA问题，是出于人道主义和不反对移民的原因。我们保护合法移民，也可以使用相同的逻辑：亲属团聚的人道主义精神，和不反移民的相同立场。
试问支持合法移民，同时反对DACA，除了“合法”“非法”的区别，还有什么立足点？而DACA马上就要合法，而原来本来合法的亲属移民马上就要非法，“法”的立足点还能用多久？
DACA和合法移民本来就是两个不相关、不矛盾的问题，共和党造成二选一，就是要分化移民群体内斗，然后各个击破。如果我们反对削减合法移民的同时攻击DACA，必然造成两败俱伤。
所以反对削减合法移民，应该坚决抵制与解决DACA问题捆绑，坚决反对任何政客拿合法移民命运做筹码和做交易。
>>非法移民不会抢美国人的工作，因为他们做的都是美国人不想要干的工作。但是合法移民才是真正对美国人有威胁，所以川普的目的就是抵制合法留下来的。
目前情况是，众议院因为大部分是共和党议员把持，HR4760法案要过基本无悬念。目前共和党参议员与民主党参议员比例是51:49。参议院要过RAISE法案，只需要50票，但是不够60票可以被filibuster。但是我们不知道到时候民主党会不会filibuster。
如果民众不发出强烈地反对这两个针对合法移民的法案的声音，就会被顺利过掉。
目前100个参议员中，出来表态反对移民改革法案的有如下：
这两法案要是真是为技术移民着想，怎么技术移民密集地加州、纽约、麻州等蓝州参议员都率先出来反对？ 而且提出两法案的议员们，基本都是来自没啥移民的红州。
下一步我们需要大力联系其他支持移民的外族团体，靠微信上华人的力量是很微弱的。一起加油，对于什么都不方便做的朋友，至少可以帮忙把微信群里的行动信息多多转发其他群，也是一种不可小觑的贡献。大家多努力！合法移民未来几十年的命运靠现在背水一战！ 最近移民改革动向就是要把欧裔与其他洲移民分个高低贵贱，西方移民vs第三世界移民的说法被反复提及。而移民内部被川普政府在进行分化，绑架DACA和合法移民一起讨论，分明是摆出了一场移民斗移民的鸿门宴。
倾巢之下，安有完卵？不把握当下，一旦进入右翼种族主义锁定他们的至上荣光之路，将来翻身仗更加没有希望。
